Woodland Gardens, Duluth, MN
Our original site is located in the Woodland neighborhood of Duluth, MN. Our bees forage on many incredible floral sources from basswood, clover, and apple to pumpkin, dandalion, and sumac. This diverse variety of nectar makes a unique honey that cannot be duplicated.
UMD Experimental Orchard, Duluth, MN
We are keeping one hive here in cooperation with the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the Northeastern Minnesota Beekeepers Association. This is primarily an educational hive but it should also produce some amazing honey! The bees will be foraging on many heirloom and new varieties of apple as well as raspberries, currants, and garden crops from the Duluth Community farm accross the road.
At Sara's Table Chester Creek Cafe
Perched on the rooftop of this great local restaurant, these bees wake every morning to beautiful sunrises over Lake Superior. They will forage in the Chester Park neighborhood and take advantage of the restaurant and neighborhood gardens.
Just a few miles outside the Duluth City Limits sits this great little location. Situated on a small hobby farm, these bees are helping with pollination of a large garden and a number of apple and crabapple trees. It is also located near a popular fishing lake which is the primary water source for the bees. We are working with the property owners to educate them about beekeeping.
Our friends Joe and Deb have invited us to their nursery. The bees will forage on some of the most beautiful and unique blooms in the Lake Superior Region. We can't wait to taste this honey!
Observation Hill/Skyline Apiary
This apiary offers one of the most breathtaking views in the Duluth City Limits! High above the city on a secluded piece of land, these bees will forage throughout the hillside within sight of some of Duluth's most historical locations.
